Mrs. Ann Long
I received a degree in Early Childhood Education from Reinhardt University in 2011, I was fortunate enough to work as a paraprofessional at Tate Elementary for five years while pursuing this degree. I have taught both second and third grades since receiving my degree. My goal is to meet the individual needs of each student while challenging them to work to their full potential. I can't wait to watch them grow both physically and academically throughout the year!
My husband, Greg, and I have one daughter, Emma. She currently attends Pickens County Middle School. Emma enjoys showing club lambs through FFA which has become a family endeavor. We spend much of our time training, grooming, and transporting her lambs all over the state to various county fairs and livestock shows. We are also very active in our church. As you can probably tell, most of my free time is spent with my family, and I wouldn't have it any other way!
Please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss any concerns you may have regarding your child. My planning time is 9:45 – 10:30. I can accept/return phone calls during this time. Otherwise, I will be happy to return your call after students are dismissed.
